Living in China, I’ve grown to adore oriental gardens. This spring I made it my goal to walk through the gardens in our community daily and many times I passed a little scene thinking, I would love to draw that. Some days I set out with the intention of capturing such a scene and others I just let myself get lost in the beauty. As we move into summer, I flip through my sketchbook and remember the time of year I most love.
Sharing this drawing awakens memories of refreshing spring walks through oriental gardens.
Do you have a special memory of spring?
Beautiful, Charity! I think flowers are my favorite indicator of spring. And trees coming back to life. Color reintroduced into the barren landscape.
Thanks for sharing, Pearl. I love seeing buds on trees. Spring is such a wonder-filled season.
